May 1st - Check in at Embassy Suites in Palm Desert for The Roam From Home. Golf at Desert Island on May 2nd and Woodhaven CC on May 3rd followed by Awards Banquet. Event Pairings May 6th - Entries will open at 7:00 a.m. for County Championship at Aviara Resort. See the flyer for more details. Register Online. Entries close at 7:00 p.m. on May 18th May 15th - Entries will open at 7:00 a.m. for our Annual Mesquite Scramble. See the flyer for more details. You may Register Online or by mail. Entries will close at 5:00 p.m. on September 7th. ---------------- Volunteers needed for Callaway Junior World Golf Championships. This wonderful event is coming to San Diego from July 13th to July 19th. There are many venues where you can help. Volunteers are needed for Starter, Scoring Tent, Marshal, Player Registration, Shuttle Driver & walking scorer. What a great way to give back to the game and help support the future of golf. Venues are Torrey Pines, Sycuan Resort, Country Club of Rancho Bernardo, Rancho Bernardo Inn, Morgan Run, Welk Resort, Lomas Santa Fe, Oaks North and Colina Park. For more information, see the volunteer form. -------------- WOMEN'S GOLF COUNCIL OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA - Four Women's Golf Associations comprise the Women's Golf Council of Southern California. The four associations include the Desert Women's Golf Association, San Diego County Women's Golf Association, Women's Public Links Golf Association and The Women's Southern California Golf Association. These associations represent over 200 clubs and 40,000 individual members. The Women's Golf Council hosts and sponsors 4 tournaments a year. Any woman with a verifiable USGA handicap can participate in a Council event, subject to meeting the individual tournament criteria. 2013 Tournament Schedule. -------------- Membership application for 2013 now available.
